Eugene Huang

Eugene Huang was born in Montclair, New Jersey. He is a graduate of the Lawrenceville School; Boston College where he graduated magna cum laude; and the New York University School of Law.

Eugene has been practicing with Wiley Malehorn Sirota & Raynes since his admission to the Bar of the State of New Jersey in 1995. He became a partner of the firm in 2001. Eugene was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1998.

Eugene's practice includes business law, commercial transactional law, estate planning and administration, environmental law, real estate, and land use. Eugene has given seminars in the areas of guardianship and employment law.

Eugene is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey and the IOLTA fund of the state of New Jersey. He is a past president of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey and serves on the Judicial Eligibility Committee of the Morris County Bar Association.

In 2007, Eugene was recognized by the New Jersey Law Journal's editorial board as being one of New Jersey's "40 under 40", lawyers who in their estimation are worthy of attention. Eugene received a 2007 Professional Lawyer of the Year award from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law.  He was named in the New Jersey Law Journal's 2005 list of the top 50 leading minority and women attorneys in the State of New Jersey. Eugene was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star from 2006 through 2010 by Law & Politics and New Jersey Monthly.

Earlier in his career, Eugene wrote a number of articles in the area of employment law, including: "Who is an employee? Let us count the ways" 12 N.J.L. 871 (2003)(co-authored); "Two holdings on employee counting" 13 N.J.L. 18 (2004); and "Guidance Still Awaited on FMLA Leave Remedy," 13 N.J.L. 2139 (2004)(co-authored).

Eugene resides in the area with his wife, Elizabeth, and his two daughters.
